A Birthday of Compassion: YAF Spreads Love at Philomena Goodman Foundation Orphanage Home

On April 6, 2026, the Yaa Animah Foundation (YAF) marked a deeply meaningful occasion, not just a birthday, but a celebration of legacy, love, and service.

In honor of the birthday of our Founder and Executive Director, Mrs. Linda Boamah Asante, the YAF team embarked on a charitable outreach to the Philomena Goodman Foundation Orphanage Home in Pokuase – Mayera, Ghana. This initiative also paid tribute to the cherished memory of her late mother, whose compassion and impact continue to inspire the mission of the Foundation.

Turning Celebration into Impact

At YAF, we believe the best way to celebrate life is by uplifting others. This outreach was guided by a simple but powerful purpose:

 To celebrate a life through generosity

 To honor a legacy through service

 To support vulnerable children with essential needs

The team arrived at the orphanage not just with donations, but with open hearts.

A Day of Giving and Connection

During the visit, the Foundation presented a variety of essential items to support the daily needs of the children. But beyond the donations, what truly defined the day were the moments shared.

Laughter filled the space. Conversations flowed. Encouragement was given freely. The children were not just recipients, they were seen, heard, and celebrated

More Than Donations: Lasting Impact

The impact of the outreach extended beyond material support:

 The donated items contributed to the children’s everyday wellbeing

 The presence of the team brought joy, hope, and emotional encouragement

 The visit strengthened the bond between YAF and the community

A Legacy That Lives On

This outreach was more than an event. It was a reflection of what YAF stands for: compassion, service, and lasting impact. By honoring the life and legacy of the Founder’s mother in such a meaningful way, the Foundation continues to embody the values she lived by, love for others, generosity, and a commitment to making a difference.

Looking Ahead

At Yaa Animah Foundation, every act of kindness is a step toward a better future. This outreach reinforces our commitment to supporting vulnerable communities and inspiring a culture of giving.

As we move forward, we remain dedicated to creating moments like this, where celebration meets purpose, and impact touches lives.
